More good news!
I am one of 4 students from my school to pass a test to go down to Sydney University for a three day Science course. I get to 'experience one full day each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics'.

I also had a school dance the other night, with the theme 'Fiction Addiction'. I went as the best Death Eater, Bellatrix Lestrange. The best parts of the night were 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'-Nirvana and 'Song 2'-Blur.
The Dark Mark which took forever to draw and still wont wash off...

Just spent the last 20 minutes drawing 'The Dark Mark' on my wrist for the Dance tonight. The theme is "Fiction', and I'm going as the best Death Eater from Harry Potter, Bellatrix Lestrange.

Not much of a resemblance...

So, as most of you know by now, Mum is engaged!
My bridesmaid dress is already figured out-

It's like the dress Keira Knightley wore in 'Atonement', only a better green and I'll fill it out a fair bit more than she did...

I'm also trying to put together a portfolio to show the Uni lecturer and the principal. I am pretty sure my 'Australia's Brainiest Kid' certificate screams sophistication.

Best Rose Cottage class on Monday as well. I love the sentence game and the 5 second impression game. I'm going to put my words here, because knowing me, I'll lose them somewhere.

These words are very special to me, they were the perfect pick me up :)

chilli burgers

I went to Charlestown today, with Allira and Paul (also known as Paulie) and it was so much fun. We bought two bags of M&Ms and put them in McDonalds sundaes. My whole sundae went blue.
Also, when we were ordering the sundaes, the guy managed to put that we wanted 230 sundaes in the register. We told him we would have that many sundaes for the price of 3, but he didn't really listen.
We also got the really chilli burgers from Oporto, even though we were feeling sick by then, and Paul didn't get a drink. So by the end his mouth was burning and he had had half of my drink.

I'm going to be away this weekend, starting to work on 'Surfest' and probably going to the beach a lot. It's going be fun.

Missing Mum a lot too!

Big news of the day.

My University Biology course is running. Next term I am going to be a 15 year old, first year University student studying 'Molecules, Cells and Organisms'!
YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

Also, I tried looking for a bus to Rose Cottage, but I couldn't find anything that would take less than 45 minutes. So I don't think I am going to be able to go for the next 3 weeks!

Also, I've just realised I probably should have sent a Valentines Card like this...

Drawing late at night.

Last night was one of those nights where I felt tired, but I couldn't fall asleep. So I did what I normally do, and I started drawing...




I think it's pretty good for my first attempt at a full skeleton :)

Happy Valentineless Day!

Ahhh. Valentines Day. One of my least favourite days of the year.

I had a plan this year. Which I didn't follow through with, because I convinced myself my 'crush' wasn't the least bit interested in me and probably thinks I resembled that algae stuff that is always in the fish tank. Or something like that.

Well, there is an upside to Valentines Day!

Anyways, spent the day singing/learning 'I Stand Alone' by Godsmack and 'Judith' by A Perfect Circle (both of which are in my music player at the bottom of this page), on my beautiful guitar. I think she needs a name. What do you name a Charvel guitar that is worth almost $1000 though?

I sat in the rain today too. It was the coldest I have been in ages, shivering every few seconds. My hair was dripping and pretty close to being incredibly straight. I loved it!

Also, this Friday, I'm going to be in a photo shoot, with Emma and her really expensive camera taking the photos. I plan on wearing purple stockings. I don't even know why I have purple stockings.

I hope you're all having a better Valentines than I seem to be.

Things to do while mum is in New York...

1. Sell my sister, Allira, to that circus near the Newcastle Entertainment Centre.
2. Dye my hair blonde and get it chemically straightened.
3. Get a fake tan.
4. Answer every maths question like this...
5. Have a huge party and invite every single person I know, and even the ones I don't.
6. Work the streets of Islington.
   
7. In Supermarkets, start laughing hysterically and rolling on the floor laughing at a brand names or products.
8. After a shower, I won't dry my hair properly and then I'll run around in my underwear, shaking my hair and singing “I'm Singing in the Rain!”
9. Eat a crayon.
10. Draw all over myself with highlighters. Claim that I am Glow-In-The-Dark.
11. Call Mum and tell her that the school counselor needs to talk to her.
12. Repaint my bedroom to reflect how I feel...
13. Get a job at McDonalds. Tell Mum there is no need for me to go to University anymore.
14. Book a ticket to New York because I am going to miss her so much :(

RAIN.

Oh Wow.

I woke up this morning.
It was raining.
And I had porridge for breakfast! With lots of brown sugar and milk.

I had missed the rain so much, I just kept on walking when I got to the bus stop.

And I am so tired. Being tired doesn't go down too well with me. I spend the day making stupid jokes and shutting my eyes every few seconds.

Oh, and I kind of look like this...

I hope this rain stays for a while. I'm not ready for 40 degree heat again.

And Valentines. Argh!

• Focus

Without focus, I would not have been able to do almost everything I have done. I would not have taught myself the guitar, I would not have started painting and most of my work would never have been done.

I am always reading, and it's Dracula that I'm reading at the moment.

Sometimes I feel like I just have to know anything and everything, and knowing the truth has always been so important to me. If I want to know something, I ask. If you want to tell me something, it's always so much easier to just say it. Which brings me to my next 'F'...

• Fear

Fear is a huge motivator for me. It's why I say things which I probably shouldn't say. It's why I do things I probably shouldn't do. But, I will only live this life once, and I have to make the most of it. I guess it's also the fear of what happens if I don't do anything, because that in itself would be something to regret.

• Forensics

Blood. Guts. Gore. I read crime fiction, watch crime shows and am in love with Dr Gunter von Hagens (the anatomist responsible for Plastination)

• FISH!

I want to be a marine scientist (or a forensic scientist...). I have read so many books on sharks, rays and fish, and being with them feels so natural to me. Swimming with hammerheads and so many other sharks has been one of the best experiences, and so was feeding the sharks and rays on my 15th birthday.

• Friends and Family

These people mean so much to me. To love and be loved by so many is an amazing feeling, and I am so grateful for you all.

• Flavour-filled Food

All you have to do is say Tiramisu, and my mouth starts watering. And I actually love eating vegetables. The only thing I can't eat is seafood, which is kind of obvious considering what I wrote about fish.

• Fluidity

I have been described as a 'floaty' person. I'm tall, with long, curly hair and I am always wearing blue and green, floaty dresses that move with me. There is always fluidity in my music, and in my paintings and I absolutely love being in the water.

• Freedom

Freedom seems to be rare in this world. I try not to take it for granted.

stupid sickness.

I don't remember having felt this sick in a long time. My stomach aches, my head aches and my back hurts.
My fantastic day seemed to start when I went to the bus stop. I sat on the grass, and then something bit me. It REALLY hurt. So I got on the bus, trying my hardest not to cry because I'm such a toughie.
Anyway, I thought it must have been a bull ant or something so I sat through my art class, once again trying not to cry. By then, my left leg was hurting and I had a horrible headache and stomach ache. I can't wait to see my skeleton drawing tomorrow, I barely remember what I did to it.
So I went to sick bay, where the nurse just had to see the bite, and she couldn't even tell what it was, and here I am, feeling really horrible because:

1. I'm aching all over
2. I got dragged over the rocks at the beach and now have a deep cut on my back
3. I have a crush, and it seems like some people have no idea when someone likes them.

15 is turning out to be a wonderful age already.

sharks and rays

I spent the day feeding sharks and rays, and I miss them so much already.

Best fun ever! I have heaps of photos of it on my myspace as well


I can't wait to get my SCUBA diving license in Sydney.


Also, I now have 8 blank canvases, acrylic paints, watercolour paints and oil paints!
It's time to get creative.
I already know I am doing one for Mum for her birthday (September 9th). But knowing me, I'll get so obsessed with it that it will be done by April.

How could anyone survive 67 and a half hours of labour...?

So... it's my birthday tomorrow.

I'm really not looking forward to the heat, so I plan on spending most of the day at the beach.

Teachers strike tomorrow as well, so I don't have to go to school until 10.30.

And today I applied for a first year Biology course in 'Molecules, Cells and Organisms'.

Doesn't my life sound exciting at the moment?

I can't wait to feed the sharks and rays though.
